The Baywood Owners Improvement Association Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the 2021 Baywood Outstanding Home Maintenance Award is given to Irma Velasquez and Sherman Chan on Franklin Street! Irma and Sherman are long-time Baywood residents and put in one of the first xeriscapes in Baywood over 10 years ago. It has grown in beautifully and is a pleasure for the many walkers, cyclists and drivers who pass it daily. Their home reflects the merging of traditional quality Baywood landscaping with a modern emphasis on beautiful and sustainable plantings. Irma, Sherman and their dog, Sesame, were presented with a "Best of Baywood" sign to put in their front yard, as well as a $100 gift certificate to the Golden Nursery in San Mateo.
