“You mean we get to meet our neighbors, have free Starbuck coffee and Backhaus pastries…and there’s no line? Sign me up for good!”
That was the happy reaction of a Baywood neighbor when they stopped by our first Baywood Neighborhood Meet Up on Saturday, November 6th. We gathered in our beautiful Bay Tree Park (150 Dartmouth Road) from 9am-11am to share the great weather, stories and a chance to make new friends and meet old ones. Everyone had such a good time that we didn’t even go on the promoted 1-2 mile walk through highlights of Baywood (maybe next time?).
This was an experiment by your BOIA Board, led by Board member Scott Long. Judging from the attendance and feedback, we’re calling it a success and doing it again. So please mark your calendars for the first Saturday in December, December 4th, 9am-11am, and join us in Bay Tree Park for our 2nd Baywood Neighborhood Meet Up. Have some fun, start your morning off in a delicious way and help us create a new Baywood tradition!
